Who performs hair transplant surgery in Clinic?
The most important steps that determine the final result are personally performed by Dr. Ahmed Altan, owner of Aestepool Clinic.
When will I notice the first effects after the transplant?
The first visible changes after hair transplantation are noticeable after just 6 months. After 12 months, you can enjoy the final results.
Does a transplanted graft mean a hair?
Graft means a unit of transplantation. A graft is a cluster of one to five hairs transplanted together. This means that by transplanting 4,000 grafts (hair follicles) with an average hair count of 2.5 Ufs per cluster, we transplant approximately 10,000 hairs.
How long does a hair transplant take?
A hair transplant procedure takes between 6 and 9 hours. Qualified medical staff work as efficiently as possible to minimize this time.
Where to start to make an appointment for a hair transplant?
Before scheduling a hair transplant procedure, you must successfully complete the hair transplant qualification process. This can be done in two ways: by submitting photos and a questionnaire, or at a physical location.
How long does it take to stay in Istanbul?
The entire stay in Istanbul lasts two hotel nights and the hair transplant procedure can be performed on Saturday, e.g. departure from Poland on Friday evening, procedure on Saturday and return to the country on Sunday afternoon the next day.
Is there a guarantee of the effect of transplanted hair?
If the results after 12 months are inadequate for the number of transplanted hair follicles and it is medical mistake, we guarantee a repair procedure.
Do we transplant hair from another part of the body?
This is possible, but we tend to reach for it secondarily. Hair transplanted from another part of the body has a different structure, growth phase, etc. Most often, this is the beard.
When can I return to work?
The ability to work allows you to return the next day after the procedure. If you work in direct service, you should take into account visible surgical intervention for up to 7 days. It is recommended to return to physical work after 14 days.
I don't know foreign languages, how will I communicate?
This is not a problem, each patient is provided with a english speaking interpreter who will accompany you during your hair transplant at a clinic in Turkey.
Can the price of a hair transplant change during the procedure?
The price for a hair transplant is fixed and does not change during the procedure. If the Aestepool team succeeds in harvesting more hair follicles than expected, the price remains unchanged.
